Cabin in Livingston Manor, NY
Two-Story Modular Cabin with Dormers
This custom two-story cabin in Livingston Manor, NY, combines traditional cabin design with a highly functional layout. Built by experienced cabin builders, the structure features classic log-style siding paired with a green standing seam metal roof, creating a durable exterior that fits naturally into its surroundings. The pictures were taken right after. completion of the cabin section of the home with work still being done on the first floor foundation.
Set on a full-story foundation, the cabin includes two garage bays below, adding valuable storage and everyday usability. A full-length deck extends across the front of the structure, covered by a lean-to style roof that provides protection while maintaining an open outdoor living space. The design also features a large A-frame section with floor-to-ceiling windows, bringing in natural light and creating a bright, open feel throughout the main living area. Two dormers add additional space and architectural detail to the upper level.
Inside, the cabin is fully finished with pine throughout, along with a custom log-style interior railing that complements the overall design. The home includes complete electrical, plumbing, and cabinetry, making it a move-in ready space. A chimney is also incorporated for a future fireplace installation.
With a focus on durability, craftsmanship, and long-term comfort, this project reflects the quality found in modular cabins in NY and Amish-built cabins. Designed for both function and visual impact, it offers a dependable and well-crafted space built to be enjoyed year-round.
